Our Rooms

Our rooms each have an electric trouser press, a colour TV with 'Freeview' , tea and coffee making facilities, an alarm clock radio and free access to wireless high speed internet. Each room has central heating via thermostat controlled radiators. In winter the system is set at 21c during the day and 15c during the night.

Our bedding is cotton with duck and goose down pillows and duvets. We do offer hyperallergenic bedding as an alternative but do please request this when booking.

We are also happy to provide the use of an iron and ironing board in the kitchen, shoe cleaning kit in the tack room and we also keep a selection of non-prescription medicines and first-aid equipment available for our guests.

Both Caroline and Keith try to provide a 'can-do' service for our guests, many of whom are regular visitors, whether it be calling taxis, recommending and booking restaurants, arranging emergency dental treatment or even providing a courtesy 'return to car service' the next morning  if you had a particularly heavy night!

The Tapestry Room

The Tapestry Room. Every combination going! A single, a twin, a double king size in addition to a small double sofa bed.

The Tapestry Room ensuite bathroom is fitted with a genuine restored Edwardian roll top bath with mixer taps and a hand held shower and a Dutch Delft bathroom suite.

The Tapestry hanging which gives this room its name.

Just one of the many homely touches in our guest rooms; this comfortable rocking chair is perfect to while away some time reading.

The Rose Room

The Rose Room has a queen size bed and a mixture of pine and antique furniture. It is a light and fresh room.

The Rose Room's bathroom is just a couple of steps along the landing. The bath is massive allowing for truly luxurious bathing. It is fitted with mixer taps and a hand held shower. You will find a wide selection of toiletries along with large fluffy towels

Along with coffee and drinking chocolate we provide a wide selection of teas in our rooms for you to choose from. We don't like sealed cartons of long life milk so if you would like milk just ask and we will provide fresh milk in a flask.

There are great views from our bedrooms but this lovely vista from the Rose Room, across our garden and into our paddocks, where our horses can often be seen grazing is one of our favourites.
